AI more than a creative tool

I use artificial intelligence as part of my visual workflow to explore ideas faster, prototype narratives, and extend what traditional 3D and motion can do.
From concept generation to final visuals, AI helps me build richer images, more ambitious scenes, and new storytelling possibilities while keeping artistic direction and intent at the center.

Video created by the Institute of Marine Sciences for World Oceans Day to share on social media.

Campaign tagline: The ocean can be called by many names, but it is a single system that connects us all.

We were asked to create this video to highlight the research work carried out by the Institute of Marine Sciences (ICM-CSIC) on a global scale. The linguistic journey of these images reflects the immensity and diversity of its field of study.

Direction and script: ICM-CSIC Communication Team

AI creation and editing: Charlotte Beaudenuit and Tània Depares

*The final image of the video, which features the Barcelona coast and the ICM building, is made up of real drone footage from the Institute of Marine Sciences.

For this audiovisual piece, we used generative AI.

This is the project's pipeline:

• Art Direction

• Shot list and prompt engineering

• Master stills and upscaling

• Image-to-video

• Sound design

Midnight Silk is an AI fashion film, co-directed by Tania Depares and Charlotte Beaudenuit, that explores the transformation of matter through structural fabrics designed to flow between surfaces and spaces.
